BEIJING, Jul 23, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- ORCL | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- The world's software titan Microsoft Corp. is taking its needed talents from IBM in China for its new bonanza - enterprise software - which is seen traditionally as a realm shared by IBM, SAP, and Oracle Corporation (Nasdaq: ORCL).

A hunter fight has secretly staged between Microsoft China and IBM China. Microsoft China aims at those project managers or project consultants, who have a lot of clients. For instance, a former IBM China executive can get a monthly salary of more than CNY 60,000 at Microsoft China, up 50% compared with CNY 40,000 at IBM China.

Under its Software + Services (S+S) idea, Microsoft shifts its focus to Internet services; and in the software field, it transforms to enterprise software from personal application software, vying with the three giants.

Naturally, Microsoft targets talents of its competitors. However, the fight has not yet taken place across all the divisions of IBM in China.
