Romero Group, a private business group, needed to cope with increased demands on their SAP resources and to introduce new service options. IBM will supply SAP outsourcing and use its external storage and UNIX processing to service the Romero Groups needs.
The contract scope also calls for IBM to apply outsourcing best practices, supply the Group with in-store equipment maintenance services and other solutions along with new services being implemented in the Group.
No financial details of the deal, which was signed in April 2008, were disclosed.
