PowerRating -- The National Mutual Insurance
Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives said Friday that it
holds a total of Y16.9 billion ($US156.69 million) in debt
securities issued by U.S. mortgage companies Fannie Mae and
Freddie Mac.
In addition, the entity commonly known as JA Kyosairen
holds foreign-currency-denominated investment trusts that
incorporate about 150 billion yen in bonds issued by U.S.
mortgage financiers.
