HCC Insurance announces new appointment

Jul 29, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- HCC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- HCC Insurance Holdings has named Neil Rolland as the new regional executive vice president of its subsidiary HCC Life Insurance with responsibility for its northwest regional office in Minnesota, US.

As regional executive vice president, Mr Rolland will oversee the underwriting and marketing for HCC Life's medical stop loss division in the division's 17-state northwest region of the US.

Before joining the company, Mr Rolland served as the vice president of payer relations and business development of Minute Clinic. He has a BA degree from St Olaf College and an MBA degree from the University of St Thomas.

Craig Kelbel, president and CEO of HCC Life, said: "Neil Rolland is a seasoned business leader who brings an extensive background in underwriting to his new position with HCC Life. We believe he will make an important contribution to HCC Life and we are looking forward to working with him."
