SI International declares financial results for Q2 FY08

Jul 30, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- SINT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- SI International Inc (Nasdaq:SINT), a provider of information services, technology and network solutions to the US federal government, declared yesterday (29 July) its financial results for the second quarter and six months ended 28 June 2008. The company's total revenues for the second quarter were USD142.8m, an increase of 20% compared to USD118.8m for the same quarter of 2007, which ended 30 June. The net income reduced to USD3.8m (USD0.29 per diluted share), down as against the net income of USD5m (USD0.38 per diluted share) in the second quarter a year ago. The total revenues for the six months which ended 28 June 2008 were USD277.2m, up from to USD232.5m for the same period in 2007. Net income decreased to USD7.3m (USD0.55 per diluted share) from a net income of USD9.8m (USD0.74 per diluted share) for the six months of 2007 ended 30 June.
