Jul 31, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- ALB | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- The board of directors of Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB), a provider of highly engineered speciality chemicals, reported on 30 July a quarterly dividend of USD0.12 per share.

This equates to an annual dividend rate of USD0.48 per share.

The dividend is payable on 1 October 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business as of 15 September 2008.
