Four of the company's seismic vessels will be involved in the surveys, giving a total contract value of around USD100m.

Petroleum Geo-Services, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, provides seismic and reservoir services, including acquisition, processing, interpretation and field evaluation. The company has 3,200 employees and reported revenue of USD1.52bn in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.99 US dollars (USD).
