Grief will be responsible for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and related integration activities, supporting Textron Systems continued growth and competitive position in the aerospace and defense industry.

Grief joins Textron Systems from Textron's Corporate office, where he was vice president of Strategy and Business Development. In that role, Grief helped shape Textron's business and market strategies in order to drive maximum return on invested capital and value. Prior to joining Textron in 2004, Grief spent 14 years with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). As a BCG vice president and director as well as a senior member of its Industrial Goods and Automotive practices and a leader of the Corporate Finance and Strategy practice, he worked with clients to perfect their portfolios, operations and related strategies.
Textron Systems provides solutions to the defense, homeland security and aerospace communities.
