Answers Corp's WikiAnswers Announces Charity AnswerThon(TM) Winners

NEW YORK, Aug 04, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ANSW | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Answers Corporation (NADSAQ: ANSW), creators of the leading answer engine offering Answers.com(R) and WikiAnswers.com(TM), today announced the winners of its summer Charity AnswerThon(TM), an organized online event on WikiAnswers.com designed to foster the sharing of knowledge while supporting worthwhile international causes. Hundreds of registered contestants picked one of five featured charities to support - ArtWorks Foundation, CaringBridge, Global Aids Alliance, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or World of Good -- and then answered as many questions as possible in any of WikiAnswers' more than 3,200 categories. The winning charities - those with the most contributions- will receive the following donations from Answers Corporation:

1st Place - The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ($5,000)

2nd Place - ArtWorks Foundation - ($1,500)

3rd Place - Caring Bridge ($500)

In addition, Global Aids Alliance and World of Good will receive goodwill prizes of $100, and the Top 20 WikiAnswers contributors who sponsored charities will receive WikiAnswers T-shirts.
