Wells Fargo Insurance Services appoints new regional managing director

Aug 05, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- WFC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Wells Fargo Insurance Services has appointed Brian Hetherington as regional managing director of property and casualty services for its west region.

Mr Hetherington will lead business development, service excellence and the identification and management of property and casualty best practices across a 10-state region that includes 41 offices.

Mr Hetherington previously served as executive vice president and managing director of property and casualty services for ABD Insurance and Financial Services.

In his new role, Mr Hetherington will oversee property and casualty insurance and risk management services across the region, which includes Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.

Samuel Jones, west region executive vice president of Wells Fargo Insurance Services, said: "Brian's background in the software and communications industries, along with his more recent experience in the brokerage industry, brings valuable depth to our management team and to our growing practice in the west region."
