Buell assumes the top position effective August 1. He replaces Philippe Martin, who has been appointed vice president of innovation and technology for Veolia Environnement, which is based in Paris. Bell previously served as VP of the firm's East region operations.
He joined Veolia in 1986 in the regulatory affairs department. Buell served for five years as the general manager of the firm's New Jersey branch and spent the last four years as VP of East region operations.
