TETRA Technologies Inc declares earnings for second quarter

Aug 11, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- TTI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- TETRA Technologies Inc (NYSE:TTI), an oil and gas services company, reported on 8 August its financial figures for the second quarter.

The company reported second quarter 2008 earnings of USD0.40 per share, as compared with USD0.29 per share in the second quarter of 2007. Consolidated revenues generated for the quarter ended 30 June 2008 were USD304.389m, as compared to USD254.054m in the second quarter of 2007 and USD225.156m in 2008's first quarter. Total gross profit was reportedly USD77.427m in the second quarter of 2008, as compared with USD60.605m in the second quarter of 2007 and USD42.047m in 2008's first quarter. According to the company, it has recorded net income (including discontinued operations) of USD29.417m in the second quarter of 2008, as compared to USD22.87m in the second quarter of 2007 and USD6.687m in the first quarter 2008.
