CDC Corporation Incurred USD10.16mn Losses in Q2

BEIJING, Aug 11, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- CHINA | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- CDC Corporation (Nasdaq: CHINA | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) incurred net losses of USD 10.16 million, or USD 0.10 per share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2008, compared with net losses of USD 3.7 million in Q2 2007, according to the Chinese software firm's financial statement unveiled on August 7.

Total operating revenues increased to USD 111 million from USD 100.7 million a year earlier. Net losses of continuing operations widened to USD 10.10 million from losses of USD 2.7 million in the April-June period of last year. Adjusted profits of continuing operations swelled to USD 4.50 million from losses of USD 750,000 a year ago.

Total operating revenues from CDC Software, CDC Games, and China.com respectively reached USD 96.10 million, USD 10.80 million, and USD 4.10 million, rising 9%, 16%, and 39% from USD 88.40 million, USD 8.70 million, and USD 3.00 million in the comparable period of the previous year.
