July traffic reported for ExpressJet Airlines

Aug 12, 2008 (AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) -- XJT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- ExpressJet Holdings (NYSE:XJT) has announced July 2008 traffic results for its subsidiary ExpressJet Airlines.

The airline's contract operation, which consists of flying for Continental Airlines and Delta Air Lines under capacity purchase agreements, plus ExpressJet's charter (corporate aviation) service, flew a total of 775m revenue passenger miles, with 991m available seat miles and a load factor of 78.2%.

The branded operation, which consists of flying under the ExpressJet name and pro-rate flying for Delta Air Lines, flew 196m revenue passenger miles with 241m available seat miles and a load factor of 81.3%.

Comparison figures for the same month last year were not available.
