DiTech Networks provides additional equipment to Dialog Telekom for GSM network

Aug 12, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- DITC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Ditech Networks (Nasdaq:DITC), a provider of voice quality solutions to the communications industry, announced on Monday (11 August) that Dialog Telekom, a mobile service provider based in Sri Lanka and a subsidiary of TMI Group, has deployed additional equipment from Ditech Networks on its GSM network.

This additional deployment will reportedly extend voice quality throughout Dialog's GSM network.

Dialog Telekom is deploying Ditech's Quad Voice Processor (QVP) and Broadband Voice Processor (BVP) products, each configured with Ditech's Voice Quality Assurance (VQA) application, which are being installed throughout Dialog Telekom's GSM network.

Financial details of the deployment were not available.
