Dover Saddlery Retail to open new store in Georgia

Aug 12, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- DOVR | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Dover Saddlery Retail, a wholly owned subsidiary of multichannel retailer Dover Saddlery, has announced that it will open a new store in Alpharetta, Georgia in October 2008.

The company said that the Alpharetta store will be its first location in Georgia.

Stephen Day, president and CEO of Dover Saddlery, said: "We look forward to opening our first store in Georgia and serving the Atlanta area. I enjoy seeing the reaction of our customers when they first enter our stores, smell the leather and see the incredible array of products. When I see that positive reaction I know that we have achieved our goal of creating an outstanding retail shopping experience for avid equestrians."
