The Isilon cluster storage system is powered by OneFS, an operating system software layer which allows an application to treat multiple colocated or physically separate storage devices as a single device.
Isilon IQ is able to integrate with multiple operating environments including Linux, Unix, Mac and Windows. OneFS is provided with all IQ clustered storage systems, including the Isilon IQ 200, 1920, 3000, 6000, 9000, 12000, Accelerator and EX 6000, 9000 and 12000. Isilon also provides a robust suite of software applications including SnapshotIQ, SmartConnect, SmartQuotas, MigrationIQ, and SyncIQ.
