Net revenues amounted to CNY 375 million or USD 55 million, climbing 30% from a year ago. Total revenues hit CNY 402 million or USD 59 million, rising 30% from the prior April-June period and 10% from the previous quarter.
The better-than-expected results are attributed to the polished performance of its hotel and airline ticket reservation operations in the period, according to Ctrip.com.
On August 13, the Nasdaq-listed company slipped USD 2.59 or 5.66%, to close at USD 43.2 apiece in the regular session, and rose USD 1.4 or 3.24%, to USD 44.6 per share in the after-hour trading.
