Aug 15, 2008 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- VMED | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- NEWCARNET.co.uk's road test videos are already syndicated to by several motoring websites, including Virgin Media, Auto Trader and Yahoo!, but the new product will offer news bulletin-style broadcasts focussing on breaking news rather than car reviews.

MSN Cars is the first to take the weekly news reels, which have been customised throughout with MSN branding. Each is around four minutes in length and features items covering new motoring products, vehicle launches, consumer issues like road pricing and congestion charges, green' motoring and industry news.

The videos, which will be hosted by a presenter, will feature around six of the hottest motoring stories of the week, and can also be viewed at NEWCARNET.tv.

"Video is one of the fastest-growing areas of internet usage right now, so doing regular weekly news about the car world was an obvious step for us and we're delighted to work with NEWCARNET.co.uk to make this happen," said Tom Evans, content manager of MSN Cars.

"Our road test videos have always been popular," said NEWCARNET.co.uk's Massimo Pini. "But recent studies* show that UK audiences are the largest consumers of online video in the world so it seemed logical to deliver this bulletin-style round-up of motoring news in a video format."
