The company declared net operating revenues for the first half of 2008 of BRL2.668.5m, an improvement of 8.0% as compared to the first half of 2007.
For the first half of 2008, net income was BRL613m (BRL2.24 per share) 16.9% variation as compared with the first half of 2007. In the second quarter 2008, net income was reportedly BRL357.5m.
EBITDA for the first half of 2008 was reported as BRL1,039.3m. In the second quarter 2008, EBITDA was BRL591.7m. According to the company, the total power consumption billed to captive customers grew 5.9% over the second quarter in the previous year. The grid market was raised 6.7%.
