Mr Bird has been vice president and CFO since December 2003. Prior to joining NorthWestern, Mr Bird was CFO and principal of Insight Energy, a Chicago-based independent power generation development company from 2002 to 2003.
Previously, he was vice president and treasurer of NRG Energy, Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 1997 to 2002.
