Dr Lasowski, in his new position, will oversee the business development activities as well as assess opportunities to potentially expand and diversify the company's portfolio. Most recently, Dr Lasowski served as senior vice president of corporate development at NPS Pharmaceuticals. Previously, he was employed in several positions at Sanofi-Aventis and its predecessor companies, in business development and corporate strategy positions. According to the company, Dr Lasowski has completed more than 25 different business transactions and has worked on three continents including North America, Europe and Asia throughout his career.
