McLean brings more than two decades of experience to Career Education. He most recently served as Vice President Human Resources for Duke Energy Corporation, which employs more than 18,000 people and supplies energy to customers in the U.S. and South America. Employed by Duke Energy for twenty-one years, McLean held various HR leadership roles in the company, leading a large HR function and successfully managing culture change, establishing HR processes and controls, and improving compliance and risk management. McLean was also previously employed by Pricewaterhouse Coopers in their Global HR Management practice.
