Wachovia Corporation appoints Sridhar Chityala as head of eCommerce

PowerRating -- Wachovia Corporation's (NYSE: WB), a financial holding company, said on
18 August that Sridhar Chityala will be heading its eCommerce division,
reporting to Ranjana Clark, head of marketing.
Chityala will partner with Wachovia's business units and oversee the
direction and execution of the company's Internet, intranet and mobile
channels, besides the overall online customer experience and
integration of Wachovia.
In the most recent post before joining Wachovia, Chityala headed the
Telecommunications Business Unit at Citi Cards, responsible for the
company's partnership with AT&T along with mobile services and PayPass
applications for credit cards.
Prior to Citigroup, Chityala was executive vice president of eBusiness
at JP Morgan Chase, in charge of eBusiness oversight for the bank's
cards, retail banking, home and auto finance and middle market
businesses and earlier served as senior executive for Chase's credit
card eBusiness.
Chityala had almost two decades of banking and finance experience in
senior management and operational roles at organisations such as
Financial Industry Foundation/Lafferty Councils and the National
Australia Bank Group, when he joined Chase in 1999.
