Team Mannatech(TM) Athlete Wins Knoxville Nationals for Third Consecutive Year

Schatz, a 31-year-old World of Outlaws (WoO) sprint car driver, has traveled the U.S. and Australia racing in the sport's premiere series since he was 18. He was introduced to Mannatech products in 2006 before he went on to win sprint car's biggest race, the Knoxville Nationals. During the 2007 season, Schatz was signed to Tony Stewart Racing.

The Fargo resident started his racing career at the age of 11 competing in go-karts. He earned the coveted WoO rookie of the year designation in 1997 and continued climbing the standings each season. By 2004 there were only three major sprint car race victories, not on his resume (the Knoxville Nationals, Kings Royal and Silver Cup). After four times finishing second at Knoxville, Schatz broke through in 2006 and secured his first career WoO championship.

In 2007, he successfully defended his WoO championship by winning a series best 19 feature events. The incredible season included his first Kings Royal triumph, another Silver Cup win, his second consecutive Knoxville Nationals victory, and his fourth Williams Grove National Open win. His 70-career WoO "A" feature victories rank him sixth all-time.
