Aug 21, 2008 (NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT via COMTEX) -- UPM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Finnish paper products company UPM-Kymmene Corporation (NYSE:UPM) said on Thursday (21 August) that it has decided to continue the temporary shutdown in its fine paper mill in Germany.

The temporary shutdown of PM 2 of Nordland Papier will continue until the end of the year, the company said.

In April 2008, UPM announced temporary shutdowns in its fine paper mills in Central Europe for one to three months to address the poor profitability of certain businesses.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.26 euros (EUR).
