Getty Realty Corp. Announces Increase in Regular Quarterly Common Stock Dividend

JERICHO, N.Y., Aug 21, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- GTY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Leo Liebowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Getty Realty Corp. (NYSE:GTY), reported that, at the Board of Directors meeting held earlier today, the Directors unanimously approved the declaration of a quarterly Common Stock dividend in the amount of $0.47 per share payable on October 9, 2008 to holders of record on September 25, 2008. This is an increase of $0.005 per share over the prior quarterly Common Stock dividend. Mr. Liebowitz stated, "This is the fourth consecutive year in which our Company has increased its dividend to shareholders. We take pride in this steady record of accomplishment."

Getty Realty Corp. is the largest publicly-traded real estate investment trust in the United States specializing in ownership and leasing of convenience store/gas station properties and petroleum distribution terminals.
