The seven-passenger Grand Livina minivan and the five-passenger Livina will come equipped with engines that can run on either gasoline or ethanol, a first for the series.
Manufacturing will take place at a plant run by Nissan and French partner Renault SA. A start date for production has not been set.
Nissan has sold more than 53,000 Livina vehicles in Indonesia, China, South Africa and other emerging markets since the series debuted in 2006.
