The new credit card offers reward to customers of USD0.10 per gallon in fuel credits when the card is used for fuel purchases at Chevron and Texaco stations.
It also offers 3% in fuel credits when the card is used for non-fuel purchases at Chevron and Texaco stations and 1% in fuel credits when the card is used for other non-fuel purchases everywhere Visa credit cards are accepted worldwide.
In addition, during the promotional period in August 2008 and September 2008, new Chevron and Texaco Visa card customers in the US will receive an introductory offer of USD0.30 per gallon statement credits for the first 60 days.
GE said that new Chevron and Texaco Visa card customers will have the convenience of cash access at over 350,000 ATMs associated with the Cirrus network.
There is no annual fee associated with the Chevron and Texaco Visa card and cardholders can enjoy online account information and access to Chevron and Texaco stations.
