Its operating revenue reached CNY 734.783 billion, soaring 30.3% year on year, but suffered CNY 46.02 billion losses from oil refining sector. Finally, the earnings per share just reached CNY 0.108.
The company produced 147.38 million barrels of crude oil and 144.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas, up 2.4% and 3.3%. It processed 84.25 million tons of crude oil and turned out 51.52 million tons of refined oil, rising 6.7% and 10.1%. It sold 63.02 million tons of refined oil, adding 8.8%.
Sinopec plans to pay interim dividend of CNY 0.03 per share. It predicted a 50%-plus slump in net profits for January-September 2008. And it plans to produce 21.24 million tons of crude oil and 4.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas, process 89.75 million tons of crude oil and sell 64 million tons of refined oil in July-December.
