The US largest car maker would put back into operation its factory, which had lain idle in Pondok Ungu, Bekasi, West Java, featuring a capacity of 20,000 units a year, Indonesia?s Antara news agency quoted Syarif Hidayat, Transport Director under the Industry Ministry of Indonesia, as saying.
GM might need to invest up to 200 million USD to re-start the factory, the official said, adding that GM plans to produce three models of MPV - the Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Captiva and Chevrolet Estate. ?Enditem
