Well services provider Seawell Ltd receives 2-year contract extension from Talisman Energy

Aug 26, 2008 (NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT via COMTEX) -- TLM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Norwegian-controlled well services provider Seawell Ltd said on Tuesday (26 August) that it has received a two-year contract extension from Talisman Energy.

The contract covers platform drilling and maintenance services on the Gyda field in the North Sea.

No financial details were disclosed.

Seawell, managed by Seawell Management AS in Stavanger, Norway, provides well services within platform drilling, engineering and well intervention. The company has some 2,300 employees and offices in Norway, the UK and the US. Seawell is registered in Bermuda.
