So far today, the stock has hit a low of $45.96 and a high of $47.35. EMR is now trading at $46.36, down $0.79 (-1.68%). The stock hit its 52-Week high of $59.05 in December and set its 52-Week low of $44.87 in January. Shares of Emerson Electric have been falling into the red after a Robert W. Baird analyst downgraded the stock to "Neutral" from "Outperform." Technical indicators for the stock are bullish and S&P gives EMR a positive 4 STARS (out of 5) buy ranking. If you are looking for a hedged play on EMR the stock seems like it could be a candidate for a September out-of-the-money bear-call credit spread above the 50 range.
