Textron Unit AAI Corp. Gets $11.9M Military Pact For Unmanned Aircraft Training Systems

(NYSE: TXT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) said that its AAI Corp. unit has received a $11.9 million contract for training systems for Army National Guard units operating unmanned aircraft.

The initial order includes 25 high fidelity Shadow Crew Trainers and interactive multimedia instruction. The contract has four option years and a total potential value of $31.1 million.

Shares of Textron rose 43 cents to close at $38.07 Tuesday.
