ORLANDO, Fla, Aug 27, 2008 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- EK | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Well managed information and documents can help gain greater efficiencies, higher rates of productivity, and increased profitability. KODAK Scanners help businesses of all sizes streamline the process of digitizing a document workflow through affordable solutions that deliver widespread benefits for sharing information. Better Buys for Business (BBB) recognized Kodak for its achievements in document scanning, tapping several scanners and solutions for Editor's Choice Awards in the 2008 Scan-to-File Guide.

"From easy to use, affordable solutions for small to medium sized businesses to fully automated solutions that are taking larger enterprises to new levels of productivity, Kodak is working across the entire industry to help businesses accelerate access to critical information," said Don McMahan, Vice President, Sales, Regional Business Manager, Document Imaging, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group. "The BBB Editor's Choice Awards validate our ability to meet a wide range of specific customer challenges, from making information available electronically directly from the desktop, to processing and sorting entire document based operations."

Better Buys for Business' Scan-to-File Guide highlights five KODAK Scanners as Editor's Choice Award winners, including three from Kodak's distributed capture portfolio.
