The twin-engined, 106-seat regional jet is the eighth aircraft of this model to join the airline's fleet. Aero Republica also operates five MD-80s.
The aircraft will service the airline's domestic and international routes and will reportedly be used to expand route networks served by the alliance between Aero Republica and Panama's Copa Airlines.
