For the year-to-date, the group's total truck deliveries increased 27% to 154,888 units, compared to 121,504 units in the same period of 2007. In July 2008, total truck deliveries in Europe decreased 5% to 8,970 units, compared to 9,449 units in July 2007.
In North America, truck deliveries decreased 2% to 2,044 units in July 2008 from 2,079 units in July 2007; and in South America, truck deliveries increased 32% to 1,701 units, compared to 1,290 units in July 2007. Truck deliveries in Asia increased 16% to 4,802 units, compared to 4,149 units in July 2007.
