New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell Set to Rumble on August 28

In true Harley-Davidson fashion, the NYSE will be leaving its traditional bell in New York, instead relying on the sweet sounds of the new 2009 VRSCF V-Rod(R) Muscle's V-Twin engine, as well as horns and lights from additional new 2009 Harley-Davidson models to close the day's trading.

Harley-Davidson representatives scheduled to participate in the closing bell ceremony include Jim Ziemer, president and chief executive officer, Harley-Davidson, Inc., and Willie G. Davidson, senior vice president & chief styling officer, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, who is also the grandson of one of the original Motor Company founders, William A. Davidson.

"Harley-Davidson has been a proud member of the New York Stock Exchange for 21 years and the opportunity to ring the closing bell live from our Anniversary festivities in Milwaukee is a great addition to these celebrations," said Ziemer.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON 105TH ANNIVERSARY

Harley-Davidson plans to celebrate its 105th Anniversary in style with thousands of loyal Harley enthusiasts from around the globe this Labor Day weekend.

Harley riders have owned the road for 105 years, and the 105th Anniversary kicks off with the biggest ride in company history, called the Ride Home. The Ride Home features 105 unique starting points around the United States that will all feed into 25 major routes bound for Milwaukee, with a scheduled arrival date of August 27, 2008.

Once the riders arrive in Milwaukee, they will be treated to four days of non-stop activities planned throughout the city. The events will be centered around the Milwaukee lakefront area with highlights including live entertainment, including performances by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, the Foo Fighters, Daughtry and dozens of others, as well as activities at the new Harley-Davidson Museum and a motorcycle parade through downtown Milwaukee.

Most events are only available to ticket holders, but the Main Street Exposition at Veterans Park, an outdoor festival with music, food and entertainment, will be open to everyone.
