The study was hosted on the firm's mediacurves.com web site, and was conducted by HCD Research and the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion (MCIPO), among self-reported Republicans, Democrats and independents.
As participants viewed the speech, they used their mouse to indicate whether they agreed or disagreed with the content of the speech in second-by-second intervals. The results of the study are available on www.mediacurves.com.
The study is part of an on-going series of studies to provide the media with a way of comparing and trending Americans' perceptions of the presidential candidates throughout the 2008 Presidential Election.
