The order covers delivery of V90-2.0 MW turbines for several projects in southern Sweden, and includes an option to buy commissioning services, a VestasOnline Business Scada solution and a two-year service agreement.
The turbines will be delivered during 2010.
The value of the order was not disclosed, but Vestas Wind Systems said that it will not affect its expectations for 2008.
Vestas Wind Systems, headquartered in Randers, Denmark, is the world's largest wind turbines manufacturer with some 35,000 wind turbines installed. The company has over 15,300 employees worldwide and reported sales of EUR4.86bn in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.25 euros (EUR).
