The city has selected five outstanding industrial parks such as Tianjin Economy and Technology Development Zone, Ziya Industrial Park, Lingang Industrial Zone, Hangu Recycling Economy Demonstration Zone, and Huayuan Industrial District.
Tianjin Economy and Technology Development Zone has achieved zero emission of pollution, with coal consumption of 0.187 tons for 10,000- yuan GDP, and fresh water consumption of 7.26 cubic meters for 10,000- yuan GDP in 2007.
Ziya Industrial Park focuses on the dismantling processing of the imported waste electrical and mechanical products. The annual dismantling products reach 1 million tons, with annul copper production of 400,000 tons, iron production of 200,000 tons and rubber and plastics materials of 300,000 tons.
Lingang Industrial Zone involves the petrol-chemical related industries, aiming to achieve zero emission of pollution.
Hangu Recycling Economy Demonstration Zone strikes to establish a green industrial chain involving electricity, desalination, salt production, and salt chemical industry, with zero emission of pollution.
Huayuan Industrial District involves enterprises dealing with green energy, information technology, mechatronics, biomedicine, and new materials.
