DuPont Titanium Technologies increases price of Ti-Pure titanium dioxide products in Japan

Sep 01, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- DD | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- DuPont Titanium Technologies, a manufacturer of titanium dioxide and part of DuPont (NYSE: DD | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) declared on 29 August that it is increasing prices for all DuPont Ti-Pure titanium dioxide grades sold in Japan by JPY40 per kilogram, with effect from 1 October or as permitted by contract.

The company stated that the new additional prices have been offset by higher raw material, energy and transportation costs.
