PowerRating -- Infinity, through the Infinity Cares programme, a community advocacy
programme managed by Infinity Insurance Companies (Nasdaq:IPCC), which
provides personal automobile insurance with a focus on non standard
auto insurance, stated on 29 August that the company's sponsored booth
distributed over 3,000 items such as paper, pens, pencils, binders,
folders, rulers and spiral notebooks to students attending the back to
school event. Students of Latino communities received school supplies
and educational resources at West Adams High School.
The event addressed the lack of resources available for these students
and academic and civic leaders presented during the information
workshops to inspire students to participate in mentoring programmes.
Infinity Cares is a community advocacy programme that is designed to
support urban communities. Infinity that same week partnered with the
LA Galaxy in support of their school supply drive. Infinity employees
helped staffed collection sites to gather contributions from fans
attending the soccer match on 21 August and items were donated to
Leapwood Elementary and School on Wheels.
