US Airways to launch service between Philadelphia and Tel Aviv

Sep 02, 2008 (AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) -- LCC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced that US Airways is launching a new nonstop service between Philadelphia and Tel Aviv next year.

The year-round, daily service will begin operating on 2 July 2009.

According to the Israel Ministry of Tourism, it expects that the new service will significantly increase the number of American tourists visiting the country.
