XFMedia appoints IR director

BEIJING, Sep 03, 2008 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- XFML | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Xinhua Finance Media (XFMedia) (XFML. NASDAQ) has appointed Edward Liu as its new Investor Relations Director to reinforce the company?s IR efforts.

Before joining XFMedia, Liu served Linktone Ltd. (LTON.NASDAQ) as the Director of Corporate Development and Investor Relations. Prior to that, he worked in Silicon Valley Bank in Santa Clara, California.

XFMedia also announced that it retained the services of American Capital Ventures, an investor relations firm, to boost the company?s exposure in investment community.
