US Airways to launch non-stop service between Philadelphia and Tel Aviv

Sep 03, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- LCC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- US Airways has announced that it will launch daily, year-round non-stop service between Philadelphia, US and Tel Aviv, Israel on July 2, 2009.

Consul Rami Levi, director of the US western region for the Israel Ministry of Tourism, said: "We are delighted by US Airways's decision to begin flying nonstop flights from Philadelphia to Israel. We expect US Airways's presence in the US-Tel Aviv market to enhance economic growth and tourism opportunities for both the US and Israel."
