Deere Sells $1.15B In Notes In Two Terms

(financialwire.net via COMTEX) -- DE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- September 4, 2008 (FinancialWire) -- John Deere Capital Corp, a unit of farm equipment maker Deere (NYSE: DE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) (Current Market Cap: US$28.41 Bil.), sold on Wednesday $1.15 billion of medium-term notes in two-parts.

Banc of America Securities and JP Morgan were the joint lead managers for the sale. The $500 million note has a maturity in 2013 and the $650 million note will mature in 2018.

Shares of Deere closed down 3% to $66.53 on Wednesday.
