Mediacom Communications Launches Big Ten Network

BALTIMORE, Sep 04, 2008 (ASCRIBE NEWS via COMTEX) -- MCCC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Mediacom Communications announced that it has reached an agreement to carry the Big Ten Network in time for Saturday's opening of the Big Ten college football season.

According to the company, Mediacom will launch the Big Ten Network in phases on its expanded basic level of service in states with Big Ten universities. The agreement also includes the Network's high-definition and video-on-demand programming. Mediacom customers will be notified when the Network becomes available in their community.
