The NASDAQ-listed company also launched a new website, www.gz2010. cn, as the official site of the games.
The Guangzhou-based company will make full use of the "sponsor" status to attract visits during the Games period and thus boost advertisement income.
William Ding, CEO of the company, said that NetEase would devote itself to the official website's construction, help to promote the Asia Games brand, cover stories about the games, and display the charms of Guangzhou.
The official website will also publish an e-magazine, combining features of both traditional and new media, putting together such factors as texts, animations, sound effects, music and video.
