Tsai's preference is for Danone to buy Want Want shares on the open market if it is interested in investing in the Hong Kong-listed rice cracker maker, the newspaper reported, citing an unnamed Want Want executive.
The newspaper didn't give the size of Tsai's stake in Want Want.
